GCQHA ~ Buckle Series Show Rules
1. Must be a member to show in GCQHA Buckle Series.
2. Current Coggins required (original papers: NO copies) and Health Certificates for out of state horses.
3. AQHA & GCQHA rules apply. (Must be 19 or over to show a stallion per AQHA Rules.)
4. Judges decisions are final.
5. Age groups are determined as of 01/01/10.
6. All Around points system: One horse – One rider. REQUIREMENTS: Halter and (3) three performance classes. Showmanship is a performance class. Must designate “All Around Entry” at entry time.
7. GCQHA may delete classes.
8. Novice classes: Exhibitor has never won 1st place in a GCQHA Western Pleasure class prior to 01/01/09. (Must have (3) three horses in class to qualify.)
9. All around classes are circled these are the only classes that all included in the all day fee.
10. All around ties will be broken by the number of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. places won.
11. Grievances will be heard by the show manager and (2) two GCQHA officers. ONLY after $100 CASH HAS BEEN POSTED. If grievance is found valid, a refund will be given.
12. Absolutely NO REFUNDS for Entry Fees/Membership, etc.
13. Exhibitors must be registered and paid, (2) two classes prior to performance.
NO WALK IN CLASSES.
14. A (6) six point placing system will be implemented: 1st thru 6th will receive points as follows: 1st – 6pts.; 2nd – 5pts.; 3rd – 4pts.; 4th – 3pts.; 5th – 2pts.; 6th – 1pt. If less than (6) six horses are entered in a class, points will be given in accordance to the amount entered in class. EXAMPLE: 1 entry – 1 pt.; 2 entries – 2pts. (1st – 2pts.; 2nd – 1pt.)
